We don't hold back information that could benefit you or believe in competing with others. That's not our style. Rather, we aim to support and elevate others in the photography community, all while having a blast. We believe in pushing boundaries, fostering connections, supporting one another, and growing together. We're committed to sharing our knowledge, generating fresh ideas, and encouraging you to make your own creative waves in the industry. We have a dream and passion for creating something new and fresh within the creative community. We are committed to helping each other navigate these hardships and to come out stronger on the other side. Our community is a place where you can feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to grow both as a photographer and as a person. We believe that by working together and lifting each other up, we can all achieve great things and make a difference in the world.
Okay, but who are we? - We’re Lyndi & Shelby, two full-time photographers who have a dream of creating something a little bit different.
We pride ourselves on creating a fun and friendly community of like-minded individuals; you’ll be sure to kick loneliness to the curb once you’ve joined our band of weirdos.
It’s time to stop scrolling through people's accounts and agonizing about why you aren’t like them; our workshops really focus on embracing your unique vibe and perspective. We’ll have you saying ‘I don’t want to be like them because I’m happy to be like me’ in no time.
We get it, sometimes in sessions, we don’t feel inspired or get to create something that sets our souls on fire, this can be especially hard in the beginning of your journey. That’s why we’re here to give you the space, support and hype girl energy to create something that sets your soul alight.
Listen, we get it, we know there’s only so much googling someone can cope with. The best and most effective way to uplevel your skills is by a more hands-on approach, learning from those around you, gaining new perspectives, ideas and insights. Plus, it’s way more fun.
We absolutely do not believe in competition or gatekeeping, we are here every step of the way and create an open community with its focus on ‘a rising tide lifts all ships’. Ask us anything, at any time!
If you feel like your portfolio doesn’t really contain work that sets you alight then you could well be attracting clients who just really aren’t your vibe. Your portfolio sets the tone for the type of work you’ll attract in the future. We love crafting a space for you to create work that truly reflects who you are so you can finally not only have a portfolio you love, but start attracting those clients that love it too.
Being new in the industry, it can be easy to fall into imposter syndrome and feel like you don’t have enough hands-on experience to really get started. We believe that learning hands-on is the best way to ditch imposter syndrome to the curb and gain confidence and even start charging what you are worth.
Oh, we’ve been there, in fact, I dare you to find a photographer who at one point hasn’t. Even if you love your business and what you do, it’s easy to get stuck in a creative rut. Even if you’ve been in the industry for a while, sometimes it’s great just to do something different and have some fun while doing it. We’re here to help you ditch that creative rut, and get your thrill for photography back.
Here for a good time and a long time! Our photography retreats are a blast with a focus on having a great time while creating some gorgeous art in the process. Retreats may include workshops, classes, and guided photo shoots over a weekend or week timeframe.

One hour with these girls from Til Death We Do Art is equivalent to an entire days worth of content, creativeness, and tips and tricks. Shelby and Lyndi are an inspiration and brought me out of a. massssssive creative rut. I'm so thankful they exist and make magic happen for others through education and genuineness.
I felt like I got so much from such a short amount of time and catch myself thinking back to the workshop at every session I've shot since!

I have always admired Shelby and Lyndi's way of capturing love and emotion in their images and when they launched til death we do art society, I was SO excited! Watching them inspire and help bring other photographers together, all while growing their businesses, I mean what bad boss b*tches! The day of the shoot was nothing less than amazing and what my heart desired. Having the content that let others know I am an all inclusive photographer and appeal to the LGBTQ community was my goal, and they delivered just that.
The couples were stunning, the tablescape was so pretty & I walked away with two photographer friends.

Til Death creates such an amazing experience every time, no doubt. I NEVER want to miss a styled shoot with them! Lyndi and Shelby think of literally everything all the way down to the tiniest details. They make you feel included and are so welcoming to every attendee. Yes, any entry-level DSLR or Mirrorless camera is acceptable. Our content days/workshops are for those aspiring to be professional photographers.
We primarily serve those who are starting out or are looking to expand their portfolio and learn new techniques. However, if you're an expert and just want some fun content...we'd love to have you too!
We know how styled shoots and workshops can be. If not ran properly, it can be really frustrating trying to get the perfect shot. We are big on timing people, splitting into smaller groups, or telling people to switch around when we notice some people may not be getting what they want. We make it a very comfortable and relaxed environment.
